I had a wonderful stay at the Sorell Hotel. My room had a stunning view of the river, which was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast had a great variety of options and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Basel.

I had an amazing time here! The location was perfect just off the middle bridge in Basel, right on the river, with great views of the Rhine. The area had lots of restaurants and it was in the center of town. The service was excellent, from room service to car hire, everything was provided. The room was cozy and had great amenities like ironing facilities, tea and coffee, and a mini-bar. I loved the terrace overlooking the garden where I could sit and relax. The staff was very helpful and accommodating in arranging tours and wake up calls.

I highly recommend this place to families. The receptionist from the night before and the waiter who brought us coffee the next morning could have been a little more welcoming, but overall the service was great.

The hotel staff were very friendly and upgraded us to a nice twin room with a view. The breakfast buffet had a pleasant variety and the city card was a nice perk, offering free public transport and discounts on museums and theatre functions.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel! Its location in the center of town provided me with breathtaking views of the Rhine. It's situated right on the river, just off the busy Mittel Bridge. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, making dining options endless. The staff here were extremely friendly and polite, always making sure my needs were met. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the free drinks in the minibar were a nice touch. The buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of delicious options. this place exceeded my expectations!

We found a great hotel in Basel for one night just passing through. The location is perfect, close to everything. With a free transportation ticket included, we were able to explore the city easily, both on foot and using the trams. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic view of the Rhine. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of choices.

We absolutely loved our stay at this conveniently located hotel! It’s just a stone's throw away from many shops on the rhine river and the city center. Our room was cozy and well equipped with Rituals bath products. The staff provided excellent service, and we enjoyed the tasty breakfast on the outdoor terrace. We couldn’t get enough of the amazing view of the river and the banks right from our window.

Exceptional customer service, comfortable bed, free transportation cards, great restaurant and bar, warm and welcoming staff. Clean rooms with balcony, complimentary water and toiletries, easy access from the train station. No AC but provided fan was sufficient. a valuable and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at the Sorell Hotel in a great central location. The staff were exceptionally helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The buffet-style breakfast was generous and included a wide range of food. The hotel was a great location to view the magnificent fireworks celebrating Swiss National Day. Trams stop outside the hotel, making it convenient for exploring the area.

As backpackers, we loved the central location, overlooking the river, and easy access to the city center. The garage on the ground floor was convenient for parking. The reception team was extremely friendly and helpful. The highlight was the excellent breakfast buffet, featuring the best smoked salmon we've ever tasted. The hotel is within walking distance to the old town and local areas, and there's a bus stop right across the street.
