We had a wonderful one-night stay at Superior Hotel Nidwaldnerhof. Despite the language difference, communication was never an issue, thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel being family-owned and operated added a special touch, with the owner even personally attending to details like polishing silverware and delivering luggage. The waitstaff and delicious food made our dinners enjoyable, particularly the ice cream towers. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness towards our furry friend, with a dog towel, bowl, and treats provided for a small fee. The location by Lake Lucerne offered breathtaking views, and the hotel's passion, professionalism, and personal touch shone through in every aspect of our stay. The upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi was a birthday surprise. Our experience exceeded our expectations, leaving us already planning our return trip.

During my stay at this hotel, I was impressed by its magnificent location directly on the lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a private terrace overlooking the beautiful scenery. The staff provided exceptional service, making me feel welcome and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the cable car to Klewenalp, allowing easy access to explore the mountains.

It would have been even better if there were air conditioning in the rooms.

The hotel is located directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and some even come with a balcony overlooking the lakefront. The staff is delightful and the service is top-notch. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of local products and an unbeatable view.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel in Beckenried. the location was perfect with stunning lake views and a short walk to the ski station. the hotel was clean and the rooms, especially the ones with lake views, were nice. the food and service in the restaurant were excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful. we were very happy with our weekend getaway.

Spent Christmas in a stunning hotel by a lake. the rooms were extremely clean and magnificent with breathtaking views of the mountains. the food was deliciously prepared and presented, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. the hotel was also just a short walk from the bus and ferry terminals for easy commuting around the area. I particularly enjoyed the picturesque view from the restaurant, making our dining experience totally unforgettable.

The bathroom occasionally had a not so pleasant odor, which it was hard to trace the source. there was no provision of a water boiler in the room, which was quite inconvenient at times.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. the location on the lake was breathtaking, and we enjoyed dining on the restaurant's decking overlooking the water. the food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the owner's passion for the hotel was evident, and it truly felt like a 5-star dining experience. the complimentary passes to the nearby ski area were a delightful bonus, and the free parking in the garage was a rarity in Switzerland. everything was perfect, from the clean and well-prepared room with a beautiful lake view to the delicious breakfast and dinner options at the restaurant.

Fabulous lake views from modern, clean room. Friendly staff. Wide range of day trips accessible even without a car.
