We stayed at Swiss-Chalet Merlischachen - Historik Chalet-Hotel Lodge for two nights and had an incredible experience. the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a free upgrade to a beautiful hotel room. the hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Merlischachen train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. the historic hotel rooms are adorned with lovely Swiss decor and are impeccably clean. We especially enjoyed the cozy country-style room in the old Swiss chalet. the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the overall Swiss hospitality was exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We got great value for our money with a beautiful room and stunning lake views. The location was perfect - a quiet area with private lake access and just a short train ride away from Lucerne. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel had lovely amenities like a pool and sauna. The hearty breakfast was a great start to our day.

We recently stayed at a charming lodge near the lake, and it was a wonderful experience. the staff at the lodge were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and lovely. the lodge itself was beautifully designed, and we enjoyed borrowing a little boat to explore the lake and even had the chance to see some swans up close. there was a great bar upstairs, and the breakfast provided a wide variety of choices. We highly recommend this lodge for its beautiful setting, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities.

Mind-blowing upgrade to a spacious lake view room with a bathroom. Super friendly staff, amazing surroundings, and delicious breakfast. Jaw-dropping view of Lake Luzern. Quick train ride from the city. Free adapter provided. Outdoor areas for families, kids playground, and lake access for swimming. Superb stay, would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this 450-year-old building with its old charm and beautiful restaurant, bar, and rooms. The staff at the downstairs restaurant were fabulous, and we had one of the best dinners of our vacation there. The room was very nice, with unique interior design, clean bathrooms, and shiny antique furniture. We even received a free upgrade to a better room. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the free pedal boat offered to explore Lake Luzern. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just 20 minutes from downtown Luzern, making it easy to explore the city.
