The staff at this lakeside hideaway were beyond amazing. From check-in to check-out, they were courteous, professional, and efficient. The mini bar in the room was not only complimentary but restocked daily. The library space was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing with a book. The lakeside area was well-maintained and provided a beautiful view. The nearby bistro had a fun family vibe. The housekeeping and restaurant staff were exceptional. the level of service was outstanding.

The size of the room, which was reasonable but not quite spacious enough to be called a "junior suite. " having to walk across the road for breakfast was an expensive inconvenience.

During our recent stay at the Swiss-Chalet Merlischachen - Romantik Schloss-Hotel Am See, we were blown away by the stunning castle-style architecture and the breathtaking view of the lake. The hotel's location was also very convenient for us as we were traveling by car, and it only took us a few minutes to reach Lucerne. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us. The private beach area was a great addition, and we enjoyed spending time there. we had an amazing experience at the hotel.

The nearby church that rang its bell every hour at night. The lack of soundproofing made it difficult for us to get a good night's sleep as we were constantly being awakened.

The lake view from the hotel was breathtaking, and the rooms were well maintained. the breakfast buffet offered many options, including fresh fruits and local products. the location was convenient, just a short walk from the train station and a short drive to the city. We also enjoyed the private garden with sun loungers and umbrellas, which made for a relaxing day by the lake.

Our New Year's experience was dampened by a few things. the parking was expensive, and there were no other options nearby.
