Just had a great stay at a lovely hotel during the Wengen World Cup Downhill weekend. the hotel was warm and comfortable, with a piano bar by a log fire - perfect for watching the snow fall. the breakfast room and swimming pool had spectacular views of the mountains. the staff were really helpful and friendly, giving great advice about the local ski area. the ski bus was conveniently right outside, and there was easy parking in the garage. Plus, there was a fantastic pizza restaurant opposite!

Can't fault the property in any way. 👌

The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to explore and enjoy outdoor activities as it is very close to the cable car to Grindelwald-First and the slopes. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent, with an all-you-can-eat buffet style. The hotel also offers free beer, water, and use of the buses, which stop right across the hotel.

One downside is that the rooms don't have AC, and some of the balconies are small.

We had a perfect stay at this place. The hotel is located right in front of the bus stop in the town center, which made it really convenient to explore the surroundings. We benefited from the housekeeping service and the laundry, which was really helpful during our stay. The free shuttle service was a nice touch and made it really easy to move around. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, they even served a glass of champagne as a welcome drink, which was a nice touch.

The sauna and spa area are beautiful. Breakfast was really good - hot options as well. The coffee machine in the room is a lovely spoil. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is close to the First cable car station. The hotel staff organized a private shuttle for us when we missed the bus to the Eiger express terminal.

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay, with a wide range of foods and a chef who will cook your eggs to your preference. the pool and sauna were well maintained and clean. the hotel’s location is perfect for those who want to explore the picturesque town and go skiing in the nearby mountains.

The rooms could use some improvement; they felt cramped and the beds could be more comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was great, especially the freshly cooked omelettes. I appreciated that the hotel provided a free bus pass during my stay, which made getting around town really easy. I also loved the stunning views from the indoor swimming pool and the relaxation lounge area. I would recommend Sunstar for a comfortable stay with nice perks.

We had a great time at Sunstar Hotel. the location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the train station. We also appreciated the shuttle services offered by the hotel. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, so we mainly walked to explore the area. the view from our room was absolutely stunning, and it provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. the pool and sauna were also a nice addition. Breakfast, which was included, had a wide selection of food. Just a tip, make sure to get to the omelette station early, as it tends to get busy quickly. one of our favorite places in the four countries we visited on our vacation.

I got great value for my money at Sunstar Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and they even provided a fan to keep me cool at night. The location was perfect, right next to the cable car and within walking distance of the train station, supermarket, and many restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or advice.

The breakfast menu could be improved by having a separate space for larger groups, so that other guests can enjoy a more peaceful and organized dining experience.
