The location was perfect, right next to the river and close to the Kunstmuseum. As Basel is a small city, we were able to walk to all the important places. the hostel provided us with a Basel Card, which gave us free public transportation and discounts at museums. the rooms were very clean and the staff was incredibly kind. We especially appreciated their assistance in storing our luggage after check out. the included breakfast was good and the airport transfer was a great added bonus. Thank you for everything!

Uncomfortable bunk bed.

We had an amazing stay at the Basel Youth Hostel. The location was perfect, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere near a beautiful creek. The hostel also had a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast, which included a variety of options like muesli, honey, jam, lactose-free milk. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, we highly recommend this hostel for a pleasant stay. it was a great experience!

The hostel was conveniently located with easy access to public transportation, only a short tram ride and walk away. The building concept was interesting and of good quality, with spacious rooms and big windows.

had an amazing summer holiday in basel and youth made it even better! the staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were really clean, and the breakfast was great. loved the terrace and cafe area too. the included transport card was so convenient. definitely recommend staying here!

We loved the friendly and professional staff, comfortable beds, and lovely breakfast. The location beside the river was very calm. Everything was sparklingly clean and all facilities were in excellent condition despite the hostel being fully booked. The staff didn't mind that we stayed and beatboxed in the lobby till the morning, they were very understanding.
