Christmas at this hotel was enjoyable with complementary coffee and cookies in the morning and complementary champagne at night. the hotel was located on a beautiful beach with stunning views and lots of activities to do. the pool was also very enjoyable and we spent a lot of time there.

The food was not very good, with a lack of variety in the buffet and the a la carte menu being very overpriced for what it was. some of the staff were rude and unhelpful.

The hotel is conveniently located close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the local area. The endless Matemwe beach is just a few steps away, providing a picturesque setting for long walks or relaxing by the water. Guests can also explore the nearby reef, which is known for its stunning marine life. The rooms are well-maintained and attention is given to detail, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of.

The beachfront location of the hotel means that there are lots of pretty, but rather sharp urchins on the nearby reef.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunshine Hotel in Matemwe! The rooms were clean and exactly like the pictures. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the fish and seafood options. The two pools were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. The property had a beautiful and private beach. The bamboo style huts provided a unique and comfortable experience as adults. an amazing place with great facilities and amenities.

The hotel itself was beautifully designed, with earthy and luxurious decor. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a menu that changed daily and offered fresh, well-prepared meals. it was one of the best places I have ever stayed, thanks to the staff, the stunning location, and the luxurious amenities.

We had a wonderful stay at Zoi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar Ex Sunshine. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, allowing us to make an early check-in. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful beach. The pool was lovely, and the food at the hotel was delicious. We also enjoyed the convenience of sun beds on the beach and the hotel's close proximity to Mnemba Island. a recommended hotel for a more intimate and relaxed experience with excellent service.
