Mind-blowingly convenient location near night bazaar and old town, with spacious and clean rooms. Polite, friendly, and helpful staff. Would definitely return!

Complimentary tea and cookies were a nice touch, and the location was ideal for exploring the city. the hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas with stunning lights and decorations in the lobby. our room had a nice view of the city skyline.

The noise from outside and other rooms in the hotel kept us up at night, and the bed was too firm for our liking. while the staff was friendly, they were not very knowledgeable about the city and did not offer much assistance with activities or recommendations.

The breakfast buffet at the hotel was outstanding, with a wide variety of options including deliciously cooked rice dishes, flavorful meat and vegetable dishes, and a diverse salad bar. The breakfast never repeated during our 8-night stay, making it feel like a hot buffet rather than just a standard breakfast. It was a great way to start our day and even saved us from needing to have lunch. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, being tucked away from the main road, providing a quiet atmosphere while still remaining convenient.

We felt completely safe walking around at night and had no reason to complain.

The location was ideal, very near one of the night markets, close to the old city gate, and just outside the old city walls. The room was well-appointed with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. The staff provided friendly and informative check-in service. The breakfast was adequate, and the hotel had a cleverly designed atrium.

The hotel lacked sustainability initiatives and had limited English language TV stations.

We had a wonderful stay at De Chai Colonial Hotel & Spa - Sha Plus. The location was ideal, close to night markets and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice views. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the hotel was LGBTI friendly. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Chiang Mai.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially towards our 10 month old baby. They even provided a clean travel cot and bathtub in our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a big and comfortable bed. We also appreciated the powerful air conditioning and decent internet speed. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the night market and old city, as it was just a short walk away. The breakfast was very good and the highlight was the lovely restaurant staff who played with our baby. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming boutique hotel! the location was perfect, just off the main street and within walking distance to the main temples in old town. the young and friendly staff made us feel right at home. Our spacious room was tastefully decorated and provided a peaceful haven after a day of exploring. the buffet breakfast offered a variety of options, including delicious freshly made omelettes. We also enjoyed the delicious room service food.
