I was delighted with my stay at Thon Hotel. The newly built part of the hotel where I stayed had a stunning terrace with an incredible view of the fjord and mountains. The room was immaculate, and the breakfast spread was diverse and well-stocked. Plus, I was pleased to find that parking was included. I highly recommend this hotel for its astonishing location and peaceful atmosphere.

The location of the hotel is central to Handanger fjord, providing easy access to breathtaking views. Additionally, it is not far from some of the ubiquitous Norwegian activities, such as waterfalls.

The hotel lacks ambience and attention to detail, with waste bins next to the elevator and a need for better cleanliness in public areas.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a picturesque town center by the sea. The location is simply unbeatable, right on the fjord and along the charming boardwalk from the harbor. Our room, in the modern extension, had a balcony with a great view of the fjord. The attention to detail and the stunning view from our patio made our stay truly memorable.

All was perfect, not a single complaint.

Close to water, great views. Friendly staff, healthy breakfast with many choices. Ability to have a meal in-house, good buffet selection. Historic building with beautiful architecture.

I appreciated the outdoor seating area that allowed us to admire the water views. the breakfast offered a decent selection of fruits, pastries, and hams. the hotel is located close to downtown, which made accessing shops and restaurants very easy.

Our stay was not without hiccups. the room was below average.
