I recently stayed at Vieng Fah Resort for a week and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is located to the east of downtown, but we rented a scooter which made getting around quick and easy. The views of the mountains from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. The environment is peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff at the reception are friendly and their English is excellent. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful pool and a cozy eating/lounge area with stunning views.

The breakfast included is a delightful treat, with a good selection of Asian style foods and fresh fruit.

The breakfast has a nice variety and offers a beautiful view of the mountains, pool, and garden.

I spent hours on the balcony, capturing amazing photos of birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. the staff was attentive and brought fresh towels and toiletries without us even asking. the free shuttle service was convenient for exploring the nearby town and night market. a great value for money.

the hotel advertised laundry facilities but didn't have any, which was inconvenient for backpackers like myself. the pool also needed a good scrub, as the tiling was not well maintained.
