We recently stayed at a fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. the Viang Thapae Resort- Sha Extra Plus was clean, comfortable, and had friendly staff. We were treated with respect and given helpful advice during our stay. the location was perfect, just a short walk to all the major attractions. the resort had beautiful pools, delicious breakfast options, and excellent value for money. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens were clean and well-supplied. We would definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay.

We had an amazing time at this Oasis in Chiang Mai. the location was perfect, within walking distance of many attractions and easy access to tuktuks. the breakfast was the best we had during our entire 18-day trip in Thailand. the room was very comfortable and quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. the architecture and attention to detail in the decoration made the resort a vibrant and cozy place to stay. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. we wished we could have stayed longer at Viang Thapae Resort- Sha Extra Plus.

Perfectly located in a quiet area near the old town and night market. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Comfy beds and adjustable a/c in the executive room. Nice big shower. Good prices for the mini bar.

This hotel is located down a quiet soi, away from the city with the sounds of nature, but still conveniently close to the old city center. You can easily take a short walk to the bustling night market and Thapae Gate. The rooms are excellent, very clean, and almost new, providing a comfortable stay. The personnel at the hotel are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food options, and the view into the garden with a lotus pond adds a peaceful touch to your morning.

Some of the cushions and rugs in the room are worn out and outdated.

We had a fantastic stay at a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the major attractions. The two pools were clean and refreshing, and the beautiful gardens created a tropical retreat atmosphere. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. The staff were kind and helpful, especially with our toddler. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the limited pool hours and dated furniture, the overall value for money was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Chiang Mai. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location down a small back street was perfect for us, as it was quiet and peaceful. The hotel provided excellent service, with room service and other amenities like car hire and bicycle hire. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities such as air conditioning and a mini-bar. The free wi-fi in the rooms was a plus, and we had a great time relaxing on the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The location was perfect, it was easy to get taxis on the main road and we were close to the center but in a peaceful area. the rooms and the hotel, in general, were beautiful. We enjoyed the good breakfast with a pretty garden and the fact that there were complementary facts offered.

The swimming pool was very cold, so we did not use it and it felt like a waste. there were no windows in our room, which was a bit disappointing.

I recently stayed at Viang Thapae Resort- Sha Extra Plus for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The interior design of the hotel is beautifully done in a tasteful Thai style, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable with nice bathrooms. The hotel exceeded my expectations as it looked even better than the photos. I loved the cozy setting of the pond garden and the soothing sound of water. The private pools shared by just a few rooms were a great feature, allowing me to step right out of bed and into the pool. The staff was incredibly helpful and there were no language problems. it was a delightful stay.
