We had a wonderful stay at Golden Horn. the hotel is located in a great area of Sirkeci, just a short walk from Sirkeci station. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke English well. the reception is open 24/7, which was convenient for us. the room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also enjoyed a warm shower in the bathroom. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes, and mini-markets within walking distance. the hotel is just 1 km away from the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. It was an excellent value for our money and we highly recommend it.

Golden Horn Istanbul Hotel is ideally located in the center of Istanbul, offering easy access to all the basic necessities at a very good price. With its proximity to the Bosphorus River, guests can enjoy stunning views of the straits while having breakfast or from the terrace. The rooms are basic but clean, and the service provided by the staff is helpful and accommodating. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel's luggage room, providing a convenient storage solution while exploring the city.

The hotel lacks its own parking facility, and guests must rely on a private separate parking area, which incurs extra charges.

I recently stayed at Golden Horn for 14 nights, and it felt like being part of a family rather than just a visitor. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city center but surprisingly quiet. There's a big park with a children's playground just a couple of minutes away, which is quite rare in this area. The presence of a nearby police department adds an extra sense of security. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was also good, with a variety of options to choose from.

Rooms were small and not well-maintained. Stained sheets and doona, broken toilet, black mould in air vents, filthy and mouldy shower.

The staff is friendly and attentive, and the hotel offers free Wi-Fi with a good connection. I was pleasantly surprised by the tea/coffee set and bathroom accessories provided.

We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location of the hotel, just a short walk to the most interesting sights in the old city of Istanbul, including the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. The airport shuttle worked smoothly, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. We also enjoyed the great selection of restaurants in the neighborhood. The prices for the rooms were very reasonable, and we loved the nice view of the Bosphorus from the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast, it included everything we needed for our day trips.
