Great stay at A Maiden Rest! The owner, Dean, was incredibly helpful and saved us a parking permit upon arrival. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options. Dean's local knowledge made our first visit to the area even more enjoyable. highly recommended!

The location to the harbour over the bridge was fantastic, providing a lovely view and making it easy to visit. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with everything spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of freshly prepared options to choose from. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. the location of the hotel was excellent, right on the seafront with beautiful views. Another advantage was the delicious breakfast served with plenty of hand sanitizer provided.

The lack of a fan in the room made it very hot and uncomfortable during the heatwave. the thin curtains did not block out the early morning sun.

A Maiden Rest is a hidden gem right on the seafront, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. The recently renovated bathrooms in the rooms are a nice touch, and the cleanliness of the entire hotel is commendable. Additionally, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable, with friendly service and attention to detail.

A Maiden Rest Bed & Breakfast was definitely worth the money. The room was cozy and the beach view was amazing. The staff treated us with warm hospitality and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

The location of this hotel is truly unbeatable. Situated right on the seafront, it offers a stunning view and is just steps away from the shops, bars, and restaurants. The proximity to the beach is fabulous, as we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll on the sand whenever we pleased.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely bed and breakfast by the sea. the location was perfect, right on the seafront with stunning views. My room, 12a, was incredibly spacious and had a large en suite bathroom. It was clean and tidy, with everything I needed. the breakfast options were fantastic, with a wide variety to choose from, and it was included in the room rate. the staff and owner were friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return!

This hotel is a hidden gem, with stunning views overlooking the sea. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The location is fantastic, just seconds away from the beach and a short walk to the town. The rooms, although basic, were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection and a great start to the day.

I had a fabulous stay at A Maiden Rest with my family. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the beach and train station. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to cater to our dietary requirements. The shower had impressive pressure, better than what we have at home. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again.
