I attended a wedding at Abbey House and had a wonderful stay. The historic building and well-kept gardens create a beautiful setting. The interior decor is a perfect blend of modern and period furniture, with great attention to detail. The value for money was outstanding, especially for a Saturday night. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast options were fantastic. The staff even surprised us with complimentary drinks and an upgrade to the Craven bridal suite, making our stay unforgettable. The hotel was conveniently located just off the main road and only a short drive from the town center. The renovated areas of the hotel appeared to be nicely furnished and the staff were polite and professional. The food in the restaurant was generally of good quality and served in a lovely setting. The grounds of the hotel were also beautiful and provided a nice area to relax.

There were some disappointing aspects of the hotel. The rooms were quite hot, even with inadequate fans provided.

From the housekeeping team to the management, everyone ensured that our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel offered a wide range of amenities, including room service, dry cleaning, and laundry, making our stay hassle-free. The room itself was spacious, clean, and modern, with all the necessary amenities such as an ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. We also enjoyed the dining experience here, with delicious breakfasts served in a lovely setting. The bar/lounge area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. this hotel provided enhanced comfort, quality services, and a truly luxurious experience.

Although the hotel itself was quiet, we did experience some noise from outside in the early morning hours. the location was a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions, making it necessary to have a car or be willing to take a taxi.

The location of the hotel is perfect for dog owners, with beautiful and well-kept grounds that are ideal for walks with your furry friend. The food at the hotel, based on other people's plates, seems to be of good quality. the staff in public roles are polite and professional. The rooms are comfortable with super comfy beds and soft, warm bedding. The hotel itself is well-ventilated and tastefully decorated, providing a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. Some facilities include a bar with excellent staff and a stunning ancient ruin nearby for exploring.

The noise level in the dining room extension may be a bit bothersome if you are staying in a room above it.
