we had a wonderful stay at cheval abbey strand apartments, at holyrood. we were warmly greeted by peter, who was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. the room was beautifully decorated and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and top-notch amenities. the location, next to the Queen’s gallery and peaceful park, was perfect for exploring. everything was impeccably clean, and we truly enjoyed our time here.

Well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment in great location at bottom of Royal Mile near Holyrood Palace. Impressed with attention to detail and quality finish. Large luxury toiletries provided. Spacious living area, though bedrooms small. Reception staff helpful and accommodating.

We had an incredible stay! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped kitchen and the comfortable bed. The location was fantastic, right next to the famous Palace of Holyrood and Arthur's Seat. Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially the lady who checked us in and Peter, who assisted us throughout our stay.

What a fantastic stay! From the minute we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home in the stunning building. the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs, offering us everything we could possibly want from daily cleaning services to extra toiletries. the location was unbeatable, right next to historical landmarks and within walking distance to the city center. And the bed! It was so comfortable, we slept like babies. We were also pleasantly surprised by the high-end amenities and beautiful decor in the apartment.

If we had to nitpick, we would only say that we wished there was more variety in the complimentary drinks provided. We were also a bit bothered by the noise from the street during the day, but it didn't detract much from our overall experience.

The laundry service came in handy for my dirty clothes, and the business facilities were a great help for all my fax and photocopying needs. The location at Holyrood Palace was like living in a royal residence.

Who needs a shower door or curtain anyway? It's much more fun to splash water all over the floor.

This hotel is the epitome of luxury! the exclusive amenities, such as the beautiful garden area and private facilities, truly elevated my stay. the room had amazing advantages, including a picnic area and tables, which allowed for a cozy and intimate meal. the location advantages were stunning, as the venue was situated in a peaceful and tranquil location. the service was exceptional, with friendly and accommodating staff always willing to help.

The only minor issue I noticed was a slight lack of storage space in the room. this did not detract from the overall experience and luxury that this hotel provided.

The location of the apartments is great, as it is easy to catch a taxi and it is just next to the Palace of Holyrood. The room is spacious and extremely clean, with high-quality amenities like Prosecco glasses and toiletries. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome and assisting with luggage. The apartment offers beautiful surroundings, with a picturesque walk up the royal mile to the city center.

There were some issues with checking-in, as the room was not ready on time despite requesting an early check-in. It was frustrating not being able to access the room when my daughter needed to eat and rest.

I appreciated the luxurious touch of the high-quality toiletries and the eco-friendly features such as the easy-to-use buttons to control the lights and heating. It was also convenient to have essentials like coffee, washing up tablets, and washing gel provided free of charge and restocked throughout my stay. The location was great for sightseeing and close to the train station. I must mention the highlight of my stay, the huge bathtub which added a touch of luxury to my experience.
