The location of the hostel is absolutely amazing, right in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in mainland Scotland. The dormitory was comfortable, with the bunk beds separated by curtains, giving a sense of privacy. I particularly enjoyed the cozy common areas, especially sitting by the fire and reading a book at night. The option to purchase dinner and breakfast at the hostel was convenient, and having kitchen facilities was a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of phone signal and Wi-Fi, which may be seen as a positive for some, but it hindered my ability to plan my daily itineraries. the noise from the toilet in the bedroom was a bit bothersome.

This hidden gem is nestled in a quiet rural location, surrounded by stunning green hills and crystal clear waters. the communal area is spacious and cozy, with all the necessary facilities and a fantastic view. the beds are comfy and each corner of the room is curtained off for privacy. We loved the eco-friendly touches and the lovely staff, who made us feel at home.

The lack of a drying room was a bit of an issue for us, as we had wet gear from exploring the hills. the car park mentioned is actually a public one for the nearby beach, which may be inconvenient if you have expensive equipment.
