I stayed at the cozy Tunnel Cottages for work in Melyn and it was the perfect retreat. The quirky style, underfloor heating, and log burner added a special touch. The owners were friendly, offering help and guidance. The shower was amazing and the beds were comfy. It was a peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The kitchen, lounge, and bedrooms were in good working condition. The appliances were good, although I had to experiment with the hob numbers. The underfloor heating was excellent. a wonderful spot to explore South Wales.

I got great value for my money at Tunnel Cottages. The room was cozy and comfortable with a rustic country cottage style. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby areas of Cardiff and Brecon. The hosts, Richard and Sheila, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

our recent stay at the cottages in Aberdare was even better than before. The beautiful setting overlooking the valley and hills, as well as the lovely walks from the doorstep, made it a perfect getaway. The friendly staff, cozy room, and amazing views exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back again!

Heating was a bit chilly at night

The location of the cottage was ideal, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The quaint and cosy atmosphere made for a lovely evening. the cottage had a social barn area that looked great.

The beds were slightly uncomfortable when joined together to form a double bed.

We got excellent value for our money at Tunnel Cottages. The room was cozy and well-equipped, with stunning views and a nice outdoor area. The staff treated us kindly and even provided charcoal for our BBQ.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be if there were more variety in the breakfast items.

The view from our cottage was absolutely stunning, overlooking a picturesque valley below. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. the cottage was full of character, with a lovely private patio and spiral stairs leading up to the cozy bedroom. It had a rustic charm that we really enjoyed.

We were disappointed to find that there was a strong smell of damp and mustiness upon entering the property. The insides of the windows were covered in thick mould and the bottom of the curtains were also moldy.

Lovely character and views at the cottage. The caretakers, Susan and Trevor, were helpful and friendly. The sheets and linen were clean and crisp. The location was great, with easy access to Cardiff and Brecon.

The heating in the room was poor, as we were told the underfloor heating and thermostat were working but the room was still quite cold. We had to light a fire to keep warm, which cost us extra.
