We had such a great time at this charming inn tucked away in the moors national park. The staff, especially Charlie and Adam, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The home cooked food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy and clean room provided us with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the stunning coastal towns and villages around Whitby, as well as enjoying the beautiful moors.

For breakfast, the only thing that could have been improved was the coffee.

We loved the cozy and warm atmosphere of the pub, especially with the roaring fire. The food surpassed our expectations and was absolutely fantastic. The landlord went above and beyond, handling everything from check-in to serving food and drinks. The location near the train station was convenient for exploring the area.

They were attentive and friendly, making sure that my every need was met. The service was impeccable, from the housekeeping to the delicious meals served in the charming dining area. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as heating and tea/coffee facilities. I also loved the terrace and garden furniture, where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Spent my New Year there and I have to say the views were spectacular. the room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, plus the shower was amazing. the best part was their traditional English breakfast, which was delicious. the location was perfect as it was in a quiet village, great for a peaceful stay. the staff was really helpful and friendly.
