We had a fantastic stay at Afan Lodge! The location was perfect, allowing us to enjoy beautiful walks and visit various areas nearby. The size of the room was impressive, giving us plenty of space to relax. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The noise from doors constantly slamming shut was quite disruptive, causing us some sleepless nights.

As a budget traveler, I was delighted by the recently refurbished rooms with comfortable beds and fluffy white towels. The room had all the essential amenities, including a hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant served reasonably priced, delicious food. The location was perfect, reminding us of the scenic Alps, and we were able to visit attractions like Swansea promenade and the beach within an hour's drive. The beds were incredibly comfy, providing a great night's sleep. The attention to detail in the rooms was also impressive, with little touches that made us feel right at home. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying, providing a great start to our day.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and sorted out any minor issues in our room with a great attitude. The rooms were bright and had lovely windows, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area. The hotel is located in a remote location, making it perfect for those who enjoy walking and biking. It's also conveniently situated right next to a tarmac "rail trail" that connects two MTB trail centers in this area. The breakfast provided was excellent, and we were pleased to find some biscuits with our tea and coffee. the service and facilities were exceptional.
