The location was perfect for me, as I was prepared to walk for 30 plus minutes to get into the city center, but there was also a bus stop right across the street for easy downtown access. The staff was helpful and the hotel offered a reasonable price.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Edinburgh for a few nights. The location was great, just a short 15-minute walk into the town center. The room was spacious and offered great value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and excellent service. Despite a minor issue with the bathroom door, the room had a fantastic view. I even managed to secure parking on a nearby road without any hassle. my expectations were exceeded and I will definitely be returning to this hotel whenever I visit. Highly recommended.

The location of this place is fantastic. It's close to the city center but far enough away to be quieter at night. You can easily walk to the center in just 30 minutes or take a quick bus ride as it's on the bus line. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations. It had all the necessary facilities and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, making us feel at home.

The bathroom size was a bit smallish, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

I had a great stay at this hotel. the location was excellent. It was in a quiet district of the city, but still within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants. The fact that there were regular buses from outside the hotel into the city center was also very convenient. Additionally, the rooms were well-equipped with comfy beds and tea making facilities. I particularly enjoyed the cute garden view from my room. Lastly, having breakfast included was a nice touch.

I had a fantastic stay at Allison House. Tony, the owner/manager, was a delightful and helpful host. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The location was conveniently close to the old town, and public transport in the city was excellent. Parking was also available, which was helpful. The shower in the room was small but amazing. Another great feature was the option to get an unlimited bus pass for just 19 pounds, allowing me to explore the city at my own pace. All in all, a great deal and a great experience.

Very comfortable and well-located for the fringe festival. Lovely complimentary items and great shower. Easy to find and keys were easy to locate. Regular bus service right outside the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff in breakfast service and cleaning. Good breakfast and nice Christmas decor. Good value for money compared to similar hotels in the area.
