Had a fantastic evening meal at the inn. The food was cooked fresh to order and absolutely delicious. The haggis bon bons with peppercorn sauce were a fantastic starter. The beef and ale pie was tender and flavorful. The comfort of the bed was top-notch, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cleanliness of the inn was highly commendable. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience.

Located in the picturesque village of Denholm, The Auld Cross Keys Inn offers easy access to the stunning borders and Northumberland. Situated close to Selkirk, it is the perfect base for exploring the Scottish Borders from the Highlands. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a nice terrace overlooking the pub garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfasts are superb, with a wide range of options to choose from. The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of locally sourced food, including delicious steaks.

The bathroom in our room was a bit small, but it still served its purpose effectively.

During my new year stay, I enjoyed the delicious food that was offered. the dishes were well-cooked and made with fresh ingredients, which added to their taste. the location was perfect as it was easy to find and had plenty of parking space. Another benefit of staying here was the cozy atmosphere, which added character to the experience.

The noise level inside the rooms was quite high, which made it difficult to sleep at times. the size of the rooms was smaller than expected, which made it tough to move around with ease.

Just had a perfect week-long stay at this hidden gem. It was an ideal base for our group of 4 exploring the stunning area. We were able to easily visit Holy Island, Glentress MTB centre, and Kielder Water with short drives. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us with a spare bike and offering great advice for kayaking. The home-cooked meals were delicious and the separate pub had a great selection of ales. The comfortable beds and excellent breakfasts were the icing on the cake.

The value for money at this inn was excellent, with a comfortable and spotlessly clean room. The location was convenient for exploring nearby towns, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the well-maintained facilities. The parking was convenient, and the location in the beautiful Border Country of Scotland was breathtaking. It was also fantastic that the hotel was close to a great MTB centre, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Moreover, the breakfast provided was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful.
