I recently stayed at Wizards Thatch for a weekend getaway and was blown away by the comfort of the bed and the overall mystical and relaxing atmosphere. The place is filled with fascinating artifacts to look at and read about, creating a truly unique experience. The cleanliness of the rooms, considering how much is packed into each one, was impressive. The location is also great, within walking distance of the village where we enjoyed fantastic food and drinks.

We had a wonderful stay at Wizards Thatch. The location was ideal, with the convenience of parking and not needing our car until checkout. The cottage had a charming character and was incredibly comfortable. The refreshments provided were exceptional and the attention to detail was evident, even down to having a car de-icer and scraper. Ian, our host, was attentive and quickly addressed any questions we had. it was a unique and enjoyable experience.

Stepped into a chapter of The Hobbit. The history, comfort, and sheer charm of our suite was an experience like no other. The attention to detail was outstanding, and we were captivated by the magical storybook written by the owners. We didn't even care about the wifi because we were too busy exploring and playing the games provided. We've already booked our return visit!

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shopping. the parking arrangements were convenient and secure, with a nearby parking lot. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a large and comfy bed. the decor and trinkets added a nice touch.

There was limited cooking and washing up space in the room. Although there were ample dining options nearby, more cooking facilities would have been appreciated.

I had the most enchanting stay at a 400-year-old thatched cottage with enough antiques and memorabilia to be classified as a museum. The homely feel of the place made it truly special. The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the unique atmosphere. The suite I stayed in, called The Wizardry, had a cosy yet spacious lounge that made me feel right at home. The entire place was beautifully clean and richly furnished, adding to its charm. I also appreciated the convenience of having a microwave, fridge, toaster, and crockery in the suite, allowing me to enjoy meals comfortably. The morning after my stay, Ian, the owner, was kind enough to show me the other two suites, and they all looked fabulous. The housekeeper was also very personable during check-in. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the magical Wizard's Thatch and have already booked to come again.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the variety of Ginger cake and fresh milk. The charity shops and bars in the local area were also a great find. Ian, our host, was fantastic! Highly recommend the cottage for a cozy movie night with wine and cheese.
