The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the Royal Mile and the castle. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a classic Scottish menu including bacon, sausages, eggs, porridge. But the highlight of our stay was the owner, who was a talented musician and entertained us with live Scottish music in the evenings. He even shared interesting tidbits about the history of Scotland. The rooms may be basic, but they were clean and comfortable. Plus, the guest house offers convenient and secure parking, which was a huge plus for us.
