had an amazing stay at the b&b south downs way in poynings. exceeded my expectations from my previous visit. beautiful property with stunning views, cozy room, and a friendly welcome. great pub nearby for food and drinks. will definitely be back if i'm in the area again.

Bathroom setup could be better.

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B! The greeting and communication were excellent, making us feel welcome from the start. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean and tidy ensuite. We appreciated the variety of soaps and shampoos provided. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room stayed warm throughout our stay. The hot water in the shower was ample, and the shower itself was very effective. We enjoyed being able to make tea and coffee in our room. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh ingredients and homemade jams. The free-range eggs were delicious, and the rhubarb with ginger made a delightful addition to our granola. The location of this hotel was stunning, with a lovely view from our bedroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We also loved that the hotel was dog-friendly, as well as the nearby pub with excellent meals.

We stayed at the B&B for a peaceful weekend getaway. The hosts were incredibly attentive and helped us dry our wet hiking gear. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, providing all the amenities we needed. The nearby pub, The Royal Oak, served excellent food. Breakfast was divine and the private parking was a bonus. a very enjoyable and welcoming stay.

The owners, Mike and Sue, were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for us, as it was just a short walk from the South Downs Way. We also loved that there was a lounge to relax in after a long day of walking. The nearby pub served wonderful food and added to the overall experience.

The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, light, and airy, with stunning views of the South Downs from our bedroom window. The breakfast served in the guests' sitting room was delicious, with homemade yogurt, home-grown fruit, and a full English. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short distance from the South Downs Way, minimizing any detour for walkers or cyclists. The pub opposite the hotel offered excellent home-cooked food at a reasonable price, and they even allowed dogs.

We had an excellent time at this B&B during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to take care of us, helping to dry our wet belongings and offering hot tea and sweets. The room itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could wish for. We also had a memorable dining experience at a nearby pub, and the breakfast served at the B&B was absolutely divine. We cannot thank the hosts enough for their assistance with our special moment, as they helped me propose to my girlfriend and even had champagne waiting for us. our stay was amazing and we can't wait to return.
