Absolutely fabulous time

I had such a wonderful experience staying at this charming B&B in a beautiful Highland setting. The hosts, Fiona and Geoff, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying at this delightful B&B and can't wait to visit again. I had an absolutely fabulous time.

Situated amidst the stunning highland landscapes, Balsporran offers a convenient location close to multiple walking trails, providing adventurous holiday goers with endless opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the area. The lack of neighboring houses ensures uninterrupted views of the breathtaking surroundings. the proximity to the ferry from Newcastle and Dalwhinnie station makes it easily accessible for travelers. The cozy rooms, delicious homemade breakfasts, and warm hospitality of the hosts, Geoff and Fiona, guarantee a memorable stay.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at this cozy B&B. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of the stunning Scottish highlands. I had the opportunity to explore beautiful hiking trails nearby, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. Additionally, the homemade cookies and complimentary drink were delightful treats that added an extra touch of charm to my stay.

While my overall experience was wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. the B&B was located close to train tracks, and although the trains passed by quite quickly, there was some occasional noise.

Good breakfast and cozy beddings. there were plenty of towels that smelled clean and fresh in the room. the location was also quite convenient and easy to find. It was located near the main road making it easier to find restaurants to dine in. the room windows allowed a great view of the surrounding area.

a charming stay in dalwhinnie exceeded my expectations. the warm welcome, cozy sitting room, and delicious vegan breakfast made balsporran bed and breakfast a gem. the hosts were lovely and the stunning surroundings added to the experience. can't wait to visit again!

The staff provides excellent service, ensuring a warm welcome and making guests feel at home. The highlight of the stay is the breakfast, with its fresh and home-cooked food made from quality ingredients.

The shower could have had stronger water pressure.

We had a truly delightful stay at this beautifully refurbished B&B. the room was quiet and comfortable, and the views from the window were superb. We were impressed by the tasteful interior and the thoughtful touches such as a selection of sweets, teas, cookies, and coffee in our room. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and served us a delicious breakfast each morning. Nothing to fault 😊

As women traveling alone, we felt incredibly safe and well taken care of at this lovely bed and breakfast. The hosts, Geoff and Fiona, were friendly and helpful, making us feel pampered throughout our stay. The beautifully decorated rooms were comfortable, equipped with modern amenities and thoughtful touches like USB ports. The stunning mountain landscape surrounding the B&B provided the perfect backdrop for peaceful walks and hikes right from the back door. We also enjoyed the delicious homemade breakfast and the extra treat of fresh eggs from their own happy chickens. this place exceeded our expectations and provided a perfect retreat.
