I had a fantastic stay at this lovely country house B&B. The value for money was outstanding and the room was clean and beautifully furnished. The location was ideal, surrounded by scenic countryside just a short stroll from the charming town with its bars, restaurants, and lake steamer. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a great stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

We had a lovely stay at this country house bed & breakfast. Elsa, the host and owner, made us feel very welcome and provided little extras in the bathroom and shared kitchen facilities. the location is beautiful and private, just a short drive or walk from Pooley Bridge. the breakfast was delicious and served in a charming themed breakfast room. the rooms were well-kept and clean, with comfortable beds. We appreciated the freedom to roam around and the welcoming atmosphere of the house. Ailsa and her staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful and quirky country house. The room was clean, pretty, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The lounge where I had breakfast was spacious and had a lot of character. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the peaceful and tranquil location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had a great time exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District. the location was perfect, with easy access to stunning lakes, charming villages, and breathtaking walks. the rooms were spacious and clean, providing us with a comfortable and relaxing accommodation. the breakfast options were delicious, with a variety of choices to suit different preferences.

It would have been better if the hotel could improve the Wi-Fi connectivity to enhance the overall guest experience.

The hot water in the shower ran cold in the evening, but it was fine in the morning. Additionally, the dogs barking might bother those who aren't dog lovers.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The surroundings were stunning, with beautiful gardens and scenic views that made our romantic escape extra special. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room we stayed in was not only spacious but also had a comfortable bed that made for a perfect night's sleep.

That there was no shower in our room's bathroom, although there was a lovely bath instead. However, there was a shower room down the hall, which was a bit inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a lovely bed & breakfast in the Lake District called Barton Hall Country House. The facilities were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfast options were fantastic, with both continental and "Full English" choices available. The rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I particularly loved the cozy Victorian decor and the hot water bottles provided. The guest kitchen was a great addition, allowing guests to cook their own meals if needed. a fantastic experience with a rating of 10 out of 10.
