I recently stayed at the charming Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham for a few nights. The hotel was a hidden gem in a quiet village surrounded by ducks. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the pub had a lovely beer garden. The food was outstanding, with both the evening meal and breakfast being top-notch. The hotel was also very dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for me. I can't wait to return with my family and dogs - highly recommended!

We had a last-minute change of plans and the staff at the Dabbling Duck were incredibly accommodating. Despite it being a busy evening, the staff remained polite, courteous, and efficient. the evening meal and breakfast were of excellent quality, with a great selection of local produce. the rooms were well-presented and comfortable, with some charming extra touches. the location in the charming village of Great Massingham was a perfect base for exploring the North Coast of Norfolk.

We were upgraded to the lovely Duckling cottage which was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt very homely. The staff were friendly and the location was perfect for us as racehorse owners. We enjoyed the fresh and delicious food for both dinner and breakfast. we highly recommend a stay at The Dabbling Duck.

We stayed here once before in one of the courtyard rooms, but this time we were in a room above the pub. The location was lovely and peaceful, nestled in a pretty village with two ponds. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the garden in the afternoon, taking in the beautiful surroundings. The service was top-notch, with staff having a super pleasant manner from both staff and manager. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with all the necessary amenities, including ironing facilities and tea and coffee facilities. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the sitting area in the room. we had a fantastic experience here.

We would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

The food options were incredibly varied and unique, making it difficult to choose just one dish. We ended up trying three starters, each of which was excellent. the pan-fried pigeon was cooked to perfection and the pheasant tacos were flavorful. the presentation of the food was superb, adding to the overall dining experience.

Although the food was impressive, the service fell short of our expectations. the staff seemed somewhat stand-offish and not as friendly as we had hoped.

stayed at a b&b in great massingham before but the dabbling duck blew it out of the water. amazing staff, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere made the stay unforgettable.

We booked a Christmas getaway and were delighted with the festive decorations and holiday cheer. the location was ideal for exploring the nearby towns and villages. the staff was friendly and accommodating, offering us a warm welcome upon arrival. the food was delicious, with generous portions and a nice selection of dishes to choose from.

Our room was a bit disappointing. the bed was uncomfortable and the decor was outdated.

The management presence and communication could be improved, as some guests mentioned a lack of replies to emails and minimal interaction upon check-in and check-out.

We loved the adorable village and the pub had excellent karaoke nights and a lively casino atmosphere. The restaurant and breakfast rooms were lovely, with great food and friendly staff. The vodka in the room was a fun touch.
