The hotel was clean and in a good location, close to shops and the beach. the bed was comfortable.

The staff were unwelcoming and there was a bad smell when you walked in. Having to pay for parking on top of an expensive room was a downside.

The location also allows for leisurely walks along the beachfront, providing a great source of entertainment. The rooms are well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The breakfast options are tasty and varied, catering to different preferences. the hotel offers excellent facilities, such as a swimming pool and spa area, perfect for relaxation.

The sauna and steam rooms can get quite busy, which may limit the availability for hotel guests.

I stayed at Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa for a weekend getaway to visit Greenway, Agatha Christie's holiday home. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and only about 15 minutes from the harbour. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean with a wonderful walk-in shower. I appreciated the daily top-up of coffee and fresh milk, as well as the thoughtful amenities provided. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was sumptuous. a great stay!

Our stay at Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa was absolutely delightful. We were particularly pleased with the attention to detail in the room, including the high-quality toiletries and the lovely touch of having biscuits and treats in the fridge. The location of the hotel was excellent, allowing us to easily walk into the center of town.

One standout moment was when our room wasn't ready on time. However, the staff at the front desk made us feel very welcomed and offered us coffee and biscuits while we waited.

Great location, friendly staff, fantastic deluxe double room, beautiful bathroom with impressive shower, complimentary toiletries, lovely touch with fresh milk.

belgrave sands hotel & spa in torquay exceeded my expectations during this carnival. the location was amazing, close to the beach and harbour, and the car parking facilities were a great plus. the check-in experience was pleasant and thoughtful, with offered tea for tired travellers. the room may have been small, but the large bathroom and thoughtful amenities made up for it.

The breakfast was top-notch, with a great selection of hot and cold options. The spa facilities were a nice added bonus, and the pool, sauna, and steam rooms were clean and accessible. it was a fantastic experience with many added touches that made it special.

the onsite parking was so convenient, and the friendly receptionist made check-in a breeze. the room and bathroom were incredibly clean and spacious. I couldn't find a single fault. the highlight of my stay was definitely the pool. It was always warm and never too crowded. the staff were exceptionally helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I had an incredible time at Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa and would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be better - right at the water front with the shops within a comfortable walking distance. The service was impeccable, from the warm welcome drink to the attentive staff at explaining how things were being dealt with at this time. The room was well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities such as a flat-screen TV, in-room safe, and tea/coffee facilities. We also loved the comfortable sitting area and terrace, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And the highlight was definitely the spa and wellness center, with its indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room - it was pure relaxation!

Great location, 5 mins walk to the beach, and friendly staff. the breakfast menu offered a good range of dishes, and the staff were very attentive. the room was lovely, with a view and clean furnishings; the bed was super comfy.

The indoor pool was too small and occupied most of the time. the staff, mostly younger ones, need a bit more training on how to handle solo travelers or customers who value discretion.

The stay at this hotel was simply divine! The hotel itself is beautiful and done up to a very high standard. The room, though not massive, was very cosy and seaside-y, and much more than expected for the price we paid. Both the evening meal and breakfasts were superb, cooked to perfection and more of an experience than a meal. The bar area and patio were spacious and lovely, and the leisure pool was totally lush. The location was ideal, as it was near enough to everything - the harbor, the beach, and the town center.
