I recently stayed at this hotel during a business trip to nearby Jura and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. the location of the hotel is very convenient, just a short 15-minute drive from the ferry at Port Askaig. This made it easy for me to catch my ferry in the morning without any hassle. Secondly, the staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted me warmly upon arrival and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Finally, I found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained. Despite being a small double room, it was nicely decorated and had all the basic amenities I needed for a comfortable night's sleep. The en-suite bathroom was also a highlight, with a powerful and refreshing shower. I found this hotel to be a great choice for my stay and I would definitely recommend it to others visiting the area.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel in Islay. the location in Bridgend was perfect for attending a wedding and exploring the island. the cooked breakfast every morning, including Scottish porridge and smoked salmon, was delicious and set us up for the day. the hotel staff, especially the lady in the restaurant, provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. the room was comfortable and had beautiful views. We also enjoyed taking a walk through the nearby woods, although parts of it were a bit boggy. a great experience.
