our recent honeymoon stay in chester was made even more memorable at brookside hotel & restaurant. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. the breakfast was a delicious surprise, with a variety of new flavors to try. we loved the peaceful location and comfortable rooms.

Stayed here for the weekend and had a lovely time. the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. the breakfast was to die for, I especially enjoyed the full breakfast and the salmon and scrambled eggs. the location was convenient with a bus stop at the end of the street and only a short walk into the city centre.

The room was a bit small, not enough space for both our bags on the floor. the decor was a bit dated and the ceiling tiles in the shower room looked old and needed replacing.
