The hotel was such a pleasant surprise, especially considering the price we paid. The attention to detail in the rooms, along with the view of the sculpture garden, made our stay truly memorable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location in a tree-filled valley provided a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast, with its flexible timing, was a great start to the day.

We recently stayed at a charming boutique hotel with clean towels each day. The location was surrounded by nature, with many interesting sculptures to view. The room was light, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom had thick, fluffy towels. The staff was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast had a huge selection and was outstanding. We also enjoyed walking around the gardens and admiring the various sculptures spread throughout the woods and hotel outside area.

The shower in our room was rather poor, which was a slight disappointment.

From the moment we arrived, we experienced quick and efficient check-in, accompanied by helpful and polite staff. the breakfast was top-notch, and the dinner was excellently prepared. the location of the hotel is also stunning, with interesting gardens adorned with various and unusual sculptures. It truly felt like we had discovered a hidden little gem.

Located in a quiet area surrounded by nature, perfect for a peaceful getaway. the Christmas decorations were impressive and put us in the holiday spirit. the breakfast had a good variety of options and the staff was friendly.

The bathroom was a letdown with poor water pressure in the shower and no hooks or rails to hang towels or put personal items. the mattress in our room was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

The wardrobe in our room was quite small and there were no cupboards, so storage for clothes was limited. the drive up to the hotel was a bit challenging, especially for larger vehicles.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail that is impressive.

The tapas menu at the restaurant was both unique and delicious. The decor of the hotel was stylish and original, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The gardens were adorned with beautiful spring blossom and a captivating sculpture trail. The spacious and comfortable bedroom, along with the attentive staff, made my experience truly memorable. One night was simply not enough.

As young families, we loved the spacious rooms with sitting areas and enormous beds, perfect for relaxing together. The newly finished, high standard bathrooms were clean and luxurious. The cheerful and helpful staff made us feel welcome and took a genuine interest in our daily adventures. The superb three-course dinner for £25 was a highlight, and the service was top-notch. The stunning gardens, with their hidden art works and sculptures, provided a peaceful escape from the busyness of North Devon.

The breakfast is excellent, with a touch of elegance like edible flowers on your eggs. With a sculpture garden and original artworks throughout the hotel, this place is truly special.

The Sunday evening dining options were not convenient, as the recommended restaurant was further away than expected.

We stayed at a hotel just outside the city, and it was great being so close to nature. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with organic and locally grown food. We also enjoyed the amazing views and the unique art throughout the hotel.
