The room we were given was recently renovated and felt very modern and clean. It even had a safe and tea and coffee amenities, which was a nice touch. the cleaning staff did an excellent job and the room always felt fresh and tidy. the location of the hotel was perfect, with three tube stations nearby and plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. We felt safe walking around at night and it was convenient for exploring the city.

There were a couple of things that we didn't like. the mattress in the room was quite uncomfortable and felt like we were sleeping on springs.

The hotel offered a good continental breakfast with a well-thought-out system for toasting bread in the kitchen, ensuring that there was no congestion around the toaster. the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, providing me with a fob for easy entry at night and giving me the freedom to come and go as I pleased. the location was also a key advantage, as it was within walking distance of Paddington Station, making it convenient for exploring the city.

Despite having to leave before breakfast started, the manager went out of their way to provide us with fresh coffee, bananas, and pastries. The location of the hotel was excellent, within an easy walk from a major train station and surrounded by a variety of excellent restaurants. Additionally, the hotel was super close to the central line metro station, offering plenty of transportation options including buses that run 24/7. It was also conveniently located near Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park, allowing for a lovely morning walk.

No elevator, which made it difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. Room temperature was too warm, requiring the window to be left open all night.

The worst aspects of my stay were the thin walls and the lack of privacy. The walls were so thin that even the slightest movement or conversation could disturb the neighbors, forcing me to be extremely cautious and quiet.
