We got incredible value for our money at Castle Vale House. The room was spacious, with beautiful views of the Tweed and the historic bridge. The location was perfect, right next to the castle wall and within walking distance of everything. The staff, especially Margaret, treated us like family and provided fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sights to see.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Lovely view from the room and tasty breakfast. the room was also spacious and had enough storage space for our clothes. there were some snacks and drinks available on the landing outside the room.

The room felt quite dated and the shower water was unreliable. we expected more for the price we paid.
