We had an amazing Easter break at this lovely hotel in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, and reasonably priced. The hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed sitting on the terrace, sipping on a refreshing drink and taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. a perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and warm hospitality.

There really wasn't anything to dislike about our stay at this hotel. The only minor issue was the size of our room, it was quite small.

My partner and I recently stayed at a charming hotel nestled in beautiful grounds. Coul House exceeded our expectations in every way. From the warm welcome we received from the friendly staff to the exquisite food prepared by a talented chef, every moment was a delight. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the lounge by the fire, sipping our drinks, while our dinner was expertly cooked. The dining room was stunning, offering picturesque vistas, and our room was lovely and luxurious. The breakfast options were plentiful, ranging from a hearty Scottish breakfast to lighter fare like prunes. We have already recommended this hidden gem to all our friends.

Had a great stay at a charming old house with stunning views of the mountains. The hotel's big garden was a bonus, especially with the fairy walk for children and the abundance of bird species for bird lovers. It was also nice to see wild rabbits playing on the lawn in the mornings and evenings. Another advantage was that the hotel is pet-friendly, with plenty of places to exercise your furry friends.

The access road to the hotel, which could use some improvement. It was a bit of a bumpy track and could be tricky to navigate, especially if you have a low-clearance vehicle.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, warm, and always ready to assist us. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, they made us feel welcome and took care of all our needs. The hotel itself was cozy and charming, with beautiful public rooms and wood fires that added to the ambiance. The food, both at breakfast and dinner, was delicious and there was always plenty of it. One of the best parts was the location, perfect for exploring the Northern Highlands. We did need a car to get there, but it was well worth it.

The hotel was beautifully renovated with a charming bar area and splendid dining room. The rooms were compact but clean, and the tastefully decorated en-suite was functional. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food, particularly the ice-cream sundae and the afternoon tea, was absolutely delicious. The gardens were enchanting with a fairy trail that both adults and kids would love. The hotel also provided WiFi, although it didn't work in our room, the reception staff were helpful in sorting it out.

The main disappointment was the dinner, with starters that were pretty awful and main courses that were tasteless and overdone. The chicken dish had a watery and bizarrely tasteless sauce, and the fish special was also overdone.

What a unique and off the beaten path experience at Coul House! From the warm welcome by Stuart, the owner, to the delicious meals and stunning fairy gardens, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The staff took great pride in their work and made us feel truly taken care of. The use of the E mountain bikes was a fun bonus, with Stuart even mapping out trails for us. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in providing directions and towels for a local swimming spot. The Coul House Hotel was a highlight of our trip, and we will definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting the Highlands.
