We recently had a fantastic weekend getaway at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the centre of town. The service and housekeeping were exceptional, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The room amenities provided enhanced convenience, including ironing facilities, a cosy sitting area, and a well-stocked tea and coffee station. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden furniture where we could relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. The free toiletries and electric kettle were thoughtful touches that added to the overall comfort of our stay. The flat-screen TV and carpeted floor added a touch of luxury to the room. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, setting us up for a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

We had a great stay at a lovely bed and breakfast in a prime location. The B&B was very close to the centre of the village and the lake, making it convenient for exploring. The room was spacious and comfortable, with special touches like champagne flutes and edible treats. The hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and her homemade breakfasts were delicious. The B&B also had a great view of Ullswater, perfect for enjoying the lake.

The weather was not kind to us during our stay.

The owner Jackie was extremely welcoming and even went out of her way to accommodate us by moving her car to make space for ours outside. The room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and had a lovely touch with heart-shaped chocolates and a Valentine's Day balloon. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast served by the cheerful host Steve was delicious, with plenty of options including fresh fruit and yogurt. The homemade flapjacks were a definite highlight. The B&B had a cute and romantic decor theme throughout that added to the overall charm. Despite a slight issue with parking, I highly recommend Craigholme Bed & Breakfast and would definitely return if visiting the area again.

We had a fabulous stay at Craigholme in Windermere! From the warm welcome to the beautifully decorated room, everything was perfect. The hosts, Jackie and Steve, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Jackie's delicious home-cooked breakfasts and hangover cures were a highlight. The location was ideal, within walking distance of Windermere and Bowness. We were even surprised with a thoughtful birthday gesture. We highly recommend this cozy B&B and can't wait to return!

The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a bright and airy feel to them. the showers were great after a long day of exploring. the location was ideal, just a short walk away from the town center and the lake. Another advantage was that the guest house only had three bedrooms, so it never felt crowded.

The parking situation was a bit misleading. Although it was advertised as free parking, it was only available on the street and not on the property.

The location of the hotel is perfect, as it is just a short walk down to the lake. It is also very close to the center of Bowness, where everything is happening. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, with a separate sitting area that was really nice. The hosts were lovely and provided exceptional service. The breakfast they served was fantastic, with lots of delicious options to choose from. The decor throughout the property was beautiful, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

One small downside was that the bathroom in the suite I stayed in was located outside of the room and down a short flight of stairs. This wasn't ideal for me, as a light sleeper who may need to visit the bathroom during the night.
