The portions are generous, so don't hesitate to ask for a smaller portion if desired. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly. Had a great new year's experience in the Scottish countryside. the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious and served using local ingredients. the location was peaceful, surrounded by the beautiful countryside, and yet still provided easy access to nearby towns and attractions. the friendliness of the hosts made us feel welcome and at home.

The shared bathroom was not ideal, and we had to leave our room to use it. we were not happy to find that the room we booked, which was supposed to have a private bathroom, was not available.
