We just got back from a fantastic 6-night stay in a charming lodge in the heart of the Dales. The lodge was in a perfect location for exploring the surrounding area and even taking a day trip to York. The property was beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. Although our room was small, it had everything we needed, and the ensuite came with some luxurious toiletries. The highlight was definitely the comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfasts were consistently delicious, and the owner, Daniel, was very welcoming. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and had every small detail taken care of. The comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The breakfast was not only well presented but also delicious. The location was fantastic, being very close to the town centre and the canal basin. The owner's care for providing a good service was evident in every aspect of our stay.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home during our Christmas stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with nice little touches like homemade biscuits and toiletries provided. The location was also great, being close to the town center and easily accessible by car. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with locally sourced produce that added that extra special touch.

That the room we stayed in was on the smaller side, which made it a bit cramped for a longer stay. there was no non-dairy alternative for milk or yoghurts, although the hosts were willing to accommodate if notified in advance.

The room itself was bright, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and set me up for a great day ahead. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The presentation was top-notch, making the meal even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the main attractions and amenities of the area. It was convenient to have both on-road parking and parking at the rear of the property. the cleanliness of the B&B was exceptional, and the room was lovely.

One minor downside was the lack of enough plug sockets in the room. As someone who was traveling for work and had multiple devices to charge, it would have been more convenient to have a few additional sockets available.

As adventure travelers, we loved the convenient location with easy access to the town center, shops, pubs, and canals. The freshly-crushed apple juice from the backyard tree at breakfast was a delightful touch.

Felt like family, no complaints whatsoever.

We stayed at a budget-friendly B&B for a family christening and were pleasantly surprised. The location was ideal since it was close to the town center and the old town. The room we stayed in was clean, bright, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast served was delicious, with fresh local produce and a variety of options. We also appreciated the off-road parking facility provided. All in all, a great place to base ourselves for the christening and to explore the surrounding area.

That there was no complimentary bottle of water provided in the room.

The breakfasts were excellent and freshly prepared. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is only a short walk from the town centre and there is ample free parking at the house or in the road outside. Our room was comfortable but a little small and the only place to sit was on the bed. This B&B is still very good value for money and we would recommend it for a short break in the area.
