The rooms at The Dog & Bear Hotel were newly decorated and very comfortable, perfect for a family of four. I loved the fact that we had a double bed and the kids had their own single beds. The food was delicious, both the evening meal and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, like some noise from other guests and a fire alarm, the price was good compared to other local hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great pub atmosphere. Busy with lots of locals. Nice beer and wine. Separate modern rooms. Quiet and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast. Excellent pub ale. Clean, spacious, and modern rooms.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the center of a pretty town. The location was excellent, right in the Square and in a great old pub with fantastic food. The room was comfortable, with a very comfy bed and clean linens. The staff were lovely and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast was superb, with a fabulous choice. The hotel also had well-supplied tea/coffee facilities and good Wi-Fi. it was a delightful stay in a picturesque setting.

The bathroom could use some improvements, such as better plumbing for the taps and shower.
