Our two-night stay at a guest house near the ferry was comfortable and good value. The rooms were basic but clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed. The communal areas felt like a friend's home, with a cozy sitting room and a huge, well-stocked kitchen. The owner, Moira, was charming and went above and beyond to help us with our ferry and car rental arrangements. Highly recommended!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail throughout our stay. Secondly, the location of this hotel was perfect for our needs. It was conveniently situated in a residential area, and it was just a short walk to the ferry for our day trip to Arran. Finally, the rooms were fantastic, with excellent facilities and plenty of useful accessories. We particularly loved the comfortable sofa and TV in our room. And let's not forget the breakfast - it was absolutely delicious and really set us up for the day ahead.

During my Xmas stay, the rooms were spotlessly clean and had robes and slippers. the free breakfast was carefully thought out and well executed, with a lounge area and a well-equipped kitchen for guests' use. the hotel's location was perfect, being close to the beach and the ferry, and there was even a locked store provided for our bikes.
