The location of the hotel was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the city center with its shopping and dining options. It was also conveniently situated near a park and river walk. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. The kitchenette was stocked with breakfast items and there was a good selection of beers available in the pub downstairs.

The windows in the room had mold around the edges.

The Flowerpot Derby is a fantastic choice for a stay in Derby. The location is superb, being very close to the centre of town and within walking distance to an excellent pub that has live music which we were visiting for a birthday celebration. The room we had was nicely decorated, clean, and modern, with a large window that let in lots of natural light. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The complimentary light breakfast buffet was a nice touch.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as we noticed a small piece of glass on the carpet.

I recently stayed at The Flowerpot for a short weekend getaway. The room was compact but clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. The en-suite bathroom was also spotless, with a great shower. Despite being above a bar, the music was kept at a reasonable volume and didn't disturb my sleep. The staff were friendly and there was ample tea, coffee, and water provided. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the nearby bars and attractions. a pleasant stay and I would definitely return.

If there was one minor downside, it would be the lack of a table in the room to enjoy our meals. While the self-service kitchenette was well-stocked and convenient, it would have been nice to have a proper dining area to sit and eat comfortably.
