As a group of touring motorcyclists, Elen's Castle was the perfect hotel for our stay. The breakfast was delicious with a cooked option made from quality ingredients. The evening meals were also top-notch with a wide menu selection. The staff and owners were welcoming and attentive, accommodating our special food requirements. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. The location was beautiful, surrounded by stunning mountains and picturesque scenery. We found lovely restaurants nearby in Betws-y-Coed, just a short drive away.

The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, with views of fields, a river, and mountains. It's perfect for those who love walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are clean and spacious, with en-suite bathrooms that have fantastic showers. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room, making it easy to have a hot drink at any time. The breakfasts here are fantastic, with crispy bacon and high-quality produce served.

We stayed in the 3-br suite for a family trip and had plenty of space for everyone. The older style hotel was clean and comfortable, with helpful and friendly hosts. Easy parking, good vegetarian options, and a great location within walking distance of Dolwyddelan Castle and a short drive to Snowdonia.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was beautiful with a river just across the road. The hotel had a lot of character and charm, and the hosts, Helen and Adam, were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection by Adam. we had a wonderful experience at Elen's Castle and would highly recommend it.

The hotel we stayed at was amazing! the location was perfect, with breathtaking views and close to great walking paths. the hospitality was warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We loved the wood-burning stove in the bar that gave us a cozy atmosphere to relax in. the food was fantastic, especially the orange marmalade gin that we got introduced to, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We also appreciated the ample parking available.

We found the shower cubicle in our room was quite small, but it was not a deal-breaker for us. communication with the hotel wasn't smooth as we had trouble reaching them before our arrival, which made us feel unsure.

Amazing location near picturesque villages, friendly locals and staff, comfortable rooms with modern amenities, great breakfast, convenient parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Elen's Castle. the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and informative. Despite being fully booked, they went out of their way to ensure our comfort. the room, although slightly tired in terms of decor, was well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the provision of a kettle and a variety of teas and coffees. the hotel is located on a main road, but surprisingly, there was hardly any noticeable traffic noise, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. the breakfasts were excellent, with a wide range of choices and fresh, cooked-to-order meals. the dinner at the restaurant was also delicious, good value, and served with excellent service.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with amazing views and a fantastic shower in the en suite. The location is perfect for exploring the area, being close to many attractions and Ellen's castle. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The basic amenities in the rooms are well-maintained and clean, and the bathrooms are a good size.
