We had a fantastic meal at Eskdale Lodge. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. The lamb rump was cooked to perfection and the vegetables and mash were mouthwatering. We did encounter a small issue with one of the dishes, but it was quickly resolved and we were delighted with the fish and chips replacement. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great dining experience.

I had a lovely New Year's Eve stay at this hotel! the staff were fantastic and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. the traditional home cooked food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant on the night of New Year's Eve. I also appreciated the hot water that was always available.

I did have some small issues with my room. the heating turned off at night which made it quite cold, and some of the TV channels were not working.
