I had a fantastic stay at this country house. The mansion and grounds were absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens and plenty of places to relax. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a beautiful dining room, reading room, lounge, and bar. The architecture and furnishing were a testament to beauty and perfection. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. I also had the wonderful chance to meet the delightful lady of the house and received lots of affection from the stunning gentle deer hound and charming black cat that roamed the garden of eden. The breakfast was delicious and the staff provided excellent service.

We spent Christmas at a beautiful period property with lovely views of the garden. the hotel staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay very enjoyable. the food was of high quality and we particularly enjoyed the modern bathroom with "his and hers" sinks. the location was perfect for sightseeing and there were great nearby pubs where we could enjoy delicious meals.

The menu didn't change during our stay and we had sampled all the dishes we preferred by the third day. we found it strange that we were served in the Orangery with a different menu instead of the main restaurant when the food appeared to come from the same source.

The hotel is simply luxurious and fulfilled all our needs. the room was spacious and boasted impressive exclusive amenities. the bathroom was modern and included a spa bath and push button controlled shower. the staff were courteous, helpful and provided top-notch service. We enjoyed the beautiful garden area, sun terrace and special diet menus in the restaurant.

The only minor issue was that some of the doors in the wing we stayed in were loud when opened and closed. this did not take away at all from the amazing experience we had here.
