I had a very enjoyable 4 night stay at this lovely hotel in the Welsh Highlands. The staff at the pub, hotel, and restaurant were all very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, with a great selection to choose from. The location was perfect, close to the Zip Wire Slate Caverns attraction, and the restaurant was always busy at night. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The service throughout my stay was top-notch and the breakfast was outstanding. Plus, the view from the hotel was breathtaking.

The grouting in the shower could use some attention.

We had a wonderful stay at this traditional pub/hotel. the staff, especially the manager Vernon, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. the room was spacious and despite the quirks of an old building, it had a lovely charm. the highlight was definitely the food - hearty and delicious. My husband raved about the Steak & Ale pie, saying it was the best he's ever had. We also loved the convenient location, perfect for visiting Portmeirion and the osprey centre nearby. We'll definitely be back, especially in the summer to enjoy the beer garden.

The restaurant served delicious meals, and the continental breakfast was a great start to the day. the service, attention to detail, and the stunning location made my stay here unforgettable.

The food at Grapes Hotel, Bar & Restaurant was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I had the Welsh Rarebit as a starter and the Chicken, Chorizo, and Red Pepper Lasagne as a main - both were absolutely delicious and satisfying. The emphasis on local fare and freshly made food really made a difference. The menu was not too different from other pubs, but the quality was outstanding. The cask ales complemented the meal perfectly. The service provided was great and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in the Snowdon area, close to the sea, at a charming hotel. The location was perfect for a lovely trek, and the Beer Garden looked great for enjoying a drink. The room was clean and tidy, with a nice big bathroom. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant served excellent food, and the breakfast was delicious.

The shower appeared to be slightly blocked, but it was a minor issue that didn't affect our overall enjoyment.

Stayed for two nights to climb Snowdon and explore the area. Lovely welcome from staff, who were knowledgeable and friendly. Room was clean and matched the website photos. Delicious food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. Great location for exploring the surrounding mountains and attractions. Secure parking and a large beer garden with a play area for kids. a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We recently stayed at a hotel near beautiful coastal locations. The views across the hillside were breathtaking. The staff were incredibly helpful and the cleanliness was top-notch. The room was clean and comfortable, with a well sound-proofed design that allowed us to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was tasty and well presented, and the little ones could play in the new park area. We also enjoyed grabbing a few drinks in the pub and indulging in delicious meals in the restaurant on the rear level inside.

The room could have been better presented and in need of refurbishment.
