the green dragon has friendly and helpful staff who made my stay enjoyable. my room was beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed, and i loved that the curtains ensured the room was dark for sleeping. the car park at the back was an easy find, and the breakfast selection was nice too, with great coffee served promptly.

Convenient parking access via a barrier-controlled lot right behind the hotel, which was a plus during our stay.

The bar closed early at 11 PM on a Friday, which was quite disappointing after a long day.

The location is superb, with a very pleasant dining room and a huge, comfortable bed in the well-equipped room.

Breakfast was disappointing. the poached egg was overcooked, and the self-service setup was confusing.

Braw location and the food in the restaurant was pure smashing, especially the pork cheek! But the bathroom could use a good clean-up – a few dirty light fittings and a cracked window weren't ideal. Wouldn’t mind a return if they spruce up the wee bits.

the breakfast was an absolute disaster. two mornings, no staff to greet us, just a maintenance man. delightful! my room 115 was a nightmare, dirty and above machinery. I can't believe there wasn’t a complimentary gesture to make up for this awful stay, I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t. so disappointed.
