Good-sized room for two adults and two children. Late check-in was handled efficiently by helpful staff. Exceptional service during breakfast. Porridge customized for twins. No bother made of toast mess.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, really making us feel at home during our Christmas stay. The hotel also had a lovely festive atmosphere, with beautiful decorations and a cozy fireplace in the lobby. The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and a beautiful view of the river. We were able to take nice walks along the riverside and admire the scenery.One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious Christmas dinner that was served at the hotel. The food was top-notch and the festive menu really made it feel like a special occasion.

Our room was not in the best condition. It seemed like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, with hairs in the bathroom and dust on the furniture.

Welcoming of our dog, with a field to the rear and nearby trails along the river bank. Fantastic dinner, with a bold menu and brilliant value for half-board guests. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was very good and dinner was the highlight. Staff and cleanliness were good, and the common areas were comfortable and well-appointed.

The communal areas are well-maintained and offer a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, with some located on the ground floor for easy access. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from including a Scottish breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist guests with their needs.

Some areas of the hotel could use more attention to cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms where guests have noticed hairs on the toilet seat and in the bath.

As young people, we loved the spacious rooms and the modern facilities. The room had plenty of electric sockets for charging our phones, and the pet-friendly policy was a bonus. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the buffet breakfast had a great selection. Finding ample parking spaces near the entrance was a relief.

Excellent stay for Christmas holidays! Loved the festive atmosphere and decorations. Enjoyed the complementary wine and mince pies upon arrival. Location was perfect, close to all the activities and events during the holiday season. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport was also a plus.

The rooms were a bit dated and in need of some TLC. The pillows were too flat and the sheets were a bit rough.
