I recently stayed at Hillocks Cottage for a weekend getaway and it was a fantastic experience. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was amazing, tucked away in the quiet countryside but still just a short drive from Ashbourne. The cottage was even bigger than it appeared in the photos, with cozy and comfortable furnishings. We loved having two toilets and the local pub, The Red Lion, served delicious meals. it was a beautiful and quaint cottage that exceeded our expectations.

I highly recommend this hotel.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean. the mattresses with memory foam toppers were comfortable. the temperature inside the cottage remained cool even in hot weather. the historical photos in the cottage were a nice touch. the village was lovely and despite being close to a pub, it was surprisingly quiet.

The cottage is located on a busy road, which made it noisy at times. Parking was difficult, especially crossing the road with children.

Quirky cottage, warm and cosy. Welcome basket with coffee, juice, water, sugar, and biscuits. Comfortable memory foam mattresses. Cool temperature in hot weather. Historical photos show cottage's history. Quiet despite close proximity to pub. Delightful location for walks. Clean and well-equipped property. Enjoyed log burner. Beautiful area. Good site location. Poor mobile reception but excellent WiFi. Smoke alarms functional. Kitchen well-equipped.

We had a lovely stay at a warm and cosy cottage in a delightful location. the cottage was nicely decorated and had comfortable furniture. It comfortably accommodated 5 adults and 1 child and had all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the welcome tray. the surrounding area was perfect for walks and visiting local attractions. the information booklet provided was comprehensive and helpful. we had a great experience and would definitely choose this cottage again.
