We had a family Christening in Ashbocking, so we stayed at Hintlesham Hall. The staff was accommodating, allowing us an early check-in. The bar and restaurant had excellent food, and the room was spacious and comfortable. a delightful stay.

The restaurant at this beautiful hotel offers a professional, slick service in a fairly small dining area. The food is excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff are friendly, polite, and go above and beyond to cater to any dietary restrictions. The rooms are filled with character and history, providing a comfortable and unique stay. The bathroom facilities are well-maintained and clean.

Some members of the staff, particularly a young head waiter, had poor customer service skills and made the fine dining experience uncomfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The stunning grounds and character building made for a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and furnished to a high standard, with really nice bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the delicious food and the opportunity to relax in such a beautiful location. This was definitely our favorite hotel out of the three we stayed at on this short trip.

We had a delightful stay at Hintlesham Hall and were upgraded to spacious ground level rooms without even asking. The whole building was beautiful, and the friendly bartender even turned on the garden lights just for us. The classic room exceeded our expectations with a small lounge area. The staff provided exceptional customer service, offering help with event arrangements and spa treatments. The meals were excellent, although the menu was the same every evening. Oliver, the young man at check-in, deserves a special thank you for his assistance.

Despite a minor issue with squeaky floorboards, our stay was beyond expectations.

Beautiful venue with a traditional feel, cozy atmosphere, and charming Christmas decorations. Friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to cater to dietary needs and even allowed hounds when the dog sitter canceled last minute.- The service provided by the staff was better than in hotels that charged over £1k a night.

Some minor touches were missing, like no biscuit or chocolate accompanying the coffee in the bar and having to search for cutlery at breakfast. The mattress in our room was of extremely poor quality, resulting in an uncomfortable night's sleep.

The dinner at the hotel was excellent, with delicious food and attentive staff. The spacious rooms were comfortable, especially the bed. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

There were several disappointing aspects of our experience. The hotel appeared run down and in need of maintenance, with disrepair evident in areas such as the water feature and tennis court.
