our recent stay in holcombe exceeded our expectations. the owners and staff were incredibly attentive and the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable. breakfast was delicious and the restaurant had outstanding food and a great wine selection. highly recommend for a cozy and welcoming experience.

The Holcombe is a lovely, warm, and spotless hotel with fantastic staff, a wonderful chef, and attention to detail in the tasteful decor. The Tranquility Garden is a fantastic extension of the inn. The rooms are gorgeous with spacious bathrooms and luxurious amenities. The food, both for lunch and breakfast, is excellent with a great variety of choices.

We stayed at The Holcombe for a weekend getaway and it was a truly delightful experience. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, yet conveniently close to many interesting attractions. The food served at the hotel was exceptional, with a wide variety of well-prepared dishes and excellent service. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The unique touch of naming the rooms after colors and nearby areas added a special charm. The views from our room were breathtaking, overlooking the stunning Downside Abbey school. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely inn nestled in beautiful countryside. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a fantastic shower in the spacious bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices. We also enjoyed the tranquility garden, overlooking the green areas. a wonderful experience in a quiet and picturesque setting.

One small downside was the noise from the pipes, which disturbed our sleep at night.

During our Easter stay, we were pleased with the well-furnished and attractive inn. the staff were welcoming and the local vibe in the bar was great. the location was ideal, with easy access to attractions such as Glastonbury Tor and Cheddar Gorge. we were impressed with the amazing food served in the restaurant. It was so good that we didn't feel the need to venture out for alternatives.

There were a few negative aspects that affected our overall experience. there were inconsistencies with the dietary menu, causing confusion and delays in placing our order.

Convenient location near our children's school. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in Barlake Lodge with great field view. Spacious rooms with nice themes. Delicious food and attentive service.

We booked a family room and were pleasantly surprised when they offered to put in extra beds for our children. The room was cozy and the food was superb. I would recommend this hotel for a delightful stay.

Additionally, the location was ideal for our business trip, with easy transportation options and ample parking available.

This hotel was a great choice for my recent business trip. the location was phenomenal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great amenities such as complimentary coffee and tea. I also loved the view from my room, which was breathtaking.

Although the hotel was great overall, I found the breakfast service to be a bit slow. It took a while for our food to arrive, and the quality was not as good as expected.
