Value for money was excellent, with clean and spacious rooms. The location was ideal, close to dog-friendly walks and tourist spots. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights, but could benefit from adding more flavor to the dishes.

Lovely surprise in our room with a gin & tonic and handmade chocolate fudge. The bed was comfortable and the lavender toiletries were a nice touch. The hotel had a welcoming atmosphere and the staff were attentive. The dinner and wine were enjoyable, and breakfast had a nice selection. Our room had high ceilings and a beautiful roll top bath. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed having my own terrace with great views, and the room was comfortable and spacious. The hibernate in your room platter was also delicious, and all the food served was amazing. the location was key and made exploring the surrounding areas easy.

While most of the staff were amazing, some didn't seem interested and sighed when we asked questions. During breakfast, things were crazy busy and we had to wait to order our food after receiving our drinks because the kitchen was busy.

My partner and I, along with our small dog, stayed at this lovely hotel for one night. The room was amazing! We loved the high-quality toiletries, powerful shower, and relaxing bath. The little extras like the bottle of gin and fudge were a nice touch. The bed, duvet, and pillow were incredibly comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the private terrace with furniture. The staff were all polite, friendly, and always had a smile. The food at the hotel was exceptional and they were more than willing to accommodate our needs. We had a wonderful short stay and would definitely stay again.

The rooms are immaculate and dog-friendly, with thoughtful touches like a bed, bowl, and treats for four-legged friends. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of delicious options to start your day.

Some noise from creaking floorboards disturbed the peacefulness of the morning.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the enchanting New Forest. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the clean and well-appointed rooms to the little extras like a terrace or garden sitting area. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the major attractions and stunning woodland walks right on the doorstep.

Everything was spot on, no improvements necessary.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Spot In The Woods. The staff provided excellent service and the kitchen cafe had a great ambience. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast, which was available all day, was delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. The warm welcome and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning to this architecturally interesting hotel and relaxing in its fabulous surroundings soon.

The staff provided a pleasant welcome and the check-in process was quick.- The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and a nice private terrace.- The bathroom was well-equipped with a rainfall shower and plenty of towels.- The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality local ingredients and good coffee.

It would have been nice to have the option to dine in the restaurant. The options for dining nearby were limited, with only a newly refurbished restaurant up the road that didn't meet expectations.
